I have been back in England for a week now and I feel like I have hardly had time to sit down. Things have been completely mad and I have been racing around seeing as many friends as possible and getting little jobs done here and there. This has definitely been a good thing because I haven't had a spare second to miss Paris and all my amazing friends who are still out there, but I have had so much on my mind that getting enough greens has slipped down my list of priorities. This smoothie is the perfect solution - its full of super greens packed with chlorophyll, vitamins and antioxidants, potassium rich bananas and delicious creamy avocado to keep you feeling satisfied. Plus you can boost your smoothie's nutrition even more with the addition of spirulina and maca powders.
1 small banana
1/2 an avocado
1 cup of almond milk
1 handful each of spinach, kale and chard
1-2 medjool dates (depending on how sweet you like it)
1 tsp each of maca, spirulina and chia seeds
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Top with goji berries for some extra sweetness and serve.
